Position Overview
As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of funeral services, from meeting with the family to plan their ceremony to coordinating the celebration of life. Your role will be essential in helping families honor their loved ones with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to families during the planning process
- Coordinate funeral services and events in accordance with the wishes of families
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with staff to create a warm and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Funeral Director’s license is preferred
- No experience required for an intern position; training and mentorship will be provided
- Commitment to serving the community with respect and integrity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
Licensed Funeral Director ranges from $28 to $33 per hour
Intern Funeral Director ranges from $23 to $28 per hour
